The Cleaning Procedure

During the procedure, the tip of the ultrasonic scaler vibrates at high frequencies, in combination with a water spray, to produce microscopic bubbles. These bubbles implode on the surfaces of your teeth. As they implode, they break up plaque and tartar deposits while bursting the cell walls of bacteria. Unlike traditional metal scalers, this allows us to thoroughly clean your teeth with minimal or no risk of damaging the enamel.
